Workshop Facilitation
Workshops designed to deliver decisions your everyday meetings can’t manage. We help you unpick complex systems with methods that are actually fun.
Curious Futures
Curious Futures is a hands-on facilitated workshop that gets teams out of their own heads, and leaves them with something concrete they actually want to act on.
There's a particular type of stagnation that's hard to place: everything's technically fine on the surface level, but in between the back-to-back meetings and non-stop emails, business-as-usual thinking has become the status quo.
Whether it's the leadership team that needs a fresh lens before a major restructure, the business unit stuck in annual planning cycles that look identical every year, or the team that's quietly stopped questioning how things are done.
Curious Futures creates the conditions for genuinely new ideas to emerge.

The Method
Curious Futures draws on futures thinking, speculative design, and collaborative facilitation, including LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® at System Level. All unlock thinking that a standard meeting never would. The exact method we’ll work with is designed depending on what your specific situation calls for.
Built to Be Actionable
We design each workshop by working backwards from what you need to walk away with. Our workshops deliver actions each participants own, not a neat summary of a discussion.
Playful by Design
Every session is designed to be energising and creative, not just productive. LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is just one of the methods we use. Every workshop aims to tap into creativity and experimentation.
Consider the Systems
Our workshops consider the full system, not just the surface level issues. That means getting beneath the surface to the structures, mindsets, and dynamics that are actually driving the real problem.
The Long-Term View
Every session is designed with the long-term in mind. We're helping you make a decision for today and asking what that decision looks like in three, five, ten years, to design the work accordingly.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Two weeks minimum. Every session is designed around your specific situation: no templates, no copy-paste formats. The pre-session conversation is where we begin to design the day together. We offer two rounds of feedback and work iteratively to ensure the final session is clear and engaging.
-
Up to 20 participants.
The format works best with 8-16 since that creates a good energy, and diversity of perspective, yet still small enough for genuine conversation.
-
No. All materials are provided. Participants just need to show up ready to think.
-
Yes — we come to you. Alternatively we can recommend appropriate venues in Lisbon, London and Edinburgh.
-
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is one of the methods we use and are certified at System Level.
It's a possible tool we may offer inside the workshop, but not always the workshop itself. Whether we use it depends on what your situation calls for.
